Job Summary:
Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care. The RN evaluates health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data, provides therapy and treatment supportive to life and well-being, and executes delegated medical functions. Additional duties include health teaching, counseling, documentation, and monitoring therapy and treatment plans. The RN may be required to float to other departments or be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN).
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications as appropriate for unit or service.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Certification as appropriate for unit or service.
