Job Summary: The Clinical Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and high-quality nursing care aligned with the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Nursing. Utilizing Jean Watson’s Theory of Caring, Relationship-Based Care, and NorthBay’s professional nursing practice model, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for assigned patients. The role involves fostering therapeutic relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote, maintain, and restore health. Care is tailored to the physiological, developmental, and psychosocial needs of patients while supporting the organization’s mission, vision, values, and commitment to excellence.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of three (3) years of acute care experience.
• Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing (Associate Degree or BSN accepted).
• Active CA RN License.
• Current AHA BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
• Experience with manual and automated information systems to improve efficiency.
