Job Summary:
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing CT imaging procedures while demonstrating professionalism and service excellence. Key responsibilities include obtaining necessary medical and radiological supplies, maintaining sterility of instruments, preparing requisitions, and ensuring patient privacy and dignity. The technologist will verify patient identification, monitor patient conditions before and after contrast injections, and report any changes to the nursing staff and Radiologist. Additional duties include maintaining adequate supplies, cleaning equipment, adhering to room assignments, and ensuring compliance with QA/QC requirements. The role also involves emergency response, triaging procedures, coordinating emergent and unscheduled requests, and communicating with other departments regarding patient status.

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a School of Radiography or College-based Radiography program
- ARRT RT (R) certification
- ARRT RT (CT) certification
- NJDEP – New Jersey State X-Ray License
- BLS Certification
