CT Scan Tech

Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, performs diagnostic computerized tomography (CT) procedures as requested by a physician to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Responsibilities include performing daily and weekly QA on CT equipment, starting intravenous lines (IVs), administering contrast media, and ensuring the quality of images. The role requires knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.

Required Qualifications

At least one (1) year of experience as a licensed technologist.
Ability to perform specialized CT procedures.
Epic experience: Minimum of six (6) to twelve (12) months within the past year.

Required Education

Completion of a two-year Radiologic Technology training program approved by the AMA.

Required Certifications & Licensure

CRT and ARRT certificates.
Basic Life Support (BLS).
