Job Summary:
The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT ensures the evaluation of Radiology procedures, equipment, and staff is administered accurately, timely, responsively, and reliably. Customers served include employees, medical staff, patients, and regulatory agencies. Priority is given to activities directly affecting customer service.

Required Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree in radiologic technology
• NYS Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License with Injection Registered
• ARRT(R)
• BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)

Preferred Qualifications:
• ARRT CT Registration

Additional Information:
• Maintains confidentiality of patients and hospital information
• Complies with all hospital policies and procedures pertaining to incident reporting
• Demonstrates the ability to perform CT procedures as requested by referring physicians
• Adheres to appropriate and accepted clinical principles, methods, and procedures while performing CT procedures
• Provides patient education as required
• Maintains effective communication with referring physicians and radiologist staff
• Demonstrates adequate radiation safety practices for patients and co-workers
• Participates in Radiology Management System functions related to patient procedures
• Abides by service delivery standards of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology in interactions with patients, visitors, employees, or other customers
