Job Summary:
The CT technologist is responsible for performing CT procedures while demonstrating professionalism and service excellence. Key responsibilities include obtaining necessary medical, surgical, and radiological supplies, maintaining sterility, preparing requisitions, and ensuring patient privacy and dignity. The technologist will verify patient identification, observe patient conditions, and report any sudden changes to the nursing staff and radiologist. Additional duties include maintaining supplies, cleaning equipment, adhering to protocols, and ensuring efficient workflow within the CT section.

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a School of Radiography or College-based Radiography program
- ARRT RT (R)
- ARRT RT (CT)
- NJDEP – New Jersey State X-Ray License
- BLS Certification

Additional Information:
- The CT technologist must adhere to HIPAA regulations and respect patient privacy.
- Must be able to assess patient ability to tolerate contrast and screen for allergies or medication incompatibilities.
- Responsible for maintaining QA/QC requirements and notifying appropriate personnel of equipment malfunctions.
