Job Summary and Qualifications- The role of the Registered Nurse is to perform patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager. The Registered Nurse provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient, and in support of the mission of Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
- As a member of the Womens/Childrens Float, position will work in the 70-bed NICU and cross train to inpatient Pediatrics.
- Part-Time; DAY-SHIFT (7a-7p+ rotating weekends); close-knit, collaborative environment; skill growth opportunities; supportive leadership.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
- BLS required upon hire. NRP certification required within 1 month of hire. PALs required for Pediatrics within 1 month of hire.
- Minimum 2 (two) years clinical experience in the NICU and will be cross trained to support Women’s and Children’s Services Float Pool.

Overland Park Regional Medical Center is a 340+ bed facility offering acute medical services to our patients. We are Johnson County’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Level II Trauma Center.
