This opportunity is ideal for a technologist who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. The selected candidate will perform both scheduled and emergency CT imaging procedures while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team at a leading pediatric healthcare facility.
Position Highlights

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT imaging examinations on scheduled and emergency patients
- Review imaging orders and ensure appropriateness of procedures
- Obtain and verify patient history
- Accurately identify patients using established safety protocols
- Administer and monitor imaging procedures while maintaining patient comfort and safety
- Demonstrate proficiency with IV placement
- Maintain image quality and exam data integrity standards
- Utilize radiology information systems and imaging software applications
- Assist with general X-ray procedures as needed
- Follow departmental quality assurance and safety guidelines

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License
- ARRT (R) Certification
- ARRT (CT) Certification
- Current BLS Certification
- Minimum one year of pediatric CT experience
- Proficiency in IV placement
- Ability to work varied, rotating, overnight, and weekend schedules
- Ability to meet all federal, state, and facility requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel healthcare experience
- Experience in high-volume hospital imaging departments
- Experience performing emergency and trauma imaging
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and safety standards
- Familiarity with multiple radiology information systems and imaging applications

The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.
- Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging
- A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
