Job Opportunity – Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) – Olympia, WA 98506

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Olympia, Washington

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 35 guaranteed hours per week

Assignment Duration: 91 days (approximately 3 months)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing individualized therapy plans designed by the Occupational Therapist
• Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and treatments
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic activities, techniques, and care instructions
• Document patient progress, treatment interventions, and modify plans as necessary under OT guidance
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients during therapy sessions

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in Washington state
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Resume, skills checklist, two professional references, and online verification of professional license required for submission
