Job Opportunity – Occupational Therapist – Walla Walla, WA 99362

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Walla Walla, Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:00), rotating weekends approximately every 3-4 weeks. Patient ratios of 8-9 to 1. Float required between acute care, medical, ICU, and inpatient rehabilitation units.

Highlights:

• Work in a 104-bed short-term acute care facility with Level III Trauma Center designation
• Treat diverse patient populations including multi-trauma, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, CVA, surgical, orthopedic, Parkinson's, and MS patients
• Collaborative, close-knit team environment in a regional hospital setting
• Epic charting system with 40 hours of paid orientation
• Opportunity to work across multiple care settings including acute, medical, ICU, and 8-bed inpatient rehab facility

Requirements:

• Active Washington state Occupational Therapy license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
• Experience with assessment, functional activities, and treating both acute and chronic disorders
• Proficiency with Epic charting preferred
• Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
• Flexibility to float between all work areas and pick up additional patients as needed
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
