CT Tech

Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Santa Monica, California
13-week assignment
Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Heavy X-ray work with floating between 2 locations

Work Setting

Works at 2 locations
Floating includes CT/X-ray coverage at Park Terrace in Los Angeles
Occasional weekends
No on-call
No scheduling requests can be accommodated

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in California
CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
CT Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT (R)
ARRT (CT)
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI
Technical diploma
1 year of CT experience
1 year of X-Ray experience
X-Ray and Fluoro skills
Radiology Technologist experience
Experience with Epic

Additional Requirements

Government-issued photo ID
2 professional references, including 1 supervisory reference
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit test within 1 year of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
Drug screen within 1 year of start
Prior radiation exposure attestation required for CT techs
California nurse aide registry check is not required for this role
