Description
Requisition Comments and Notes
- Assignment Duration: 13-16 weeks
- Schedule: 3 days, 12-hour shifts (06:45-19:15)
- Call Requirement: One or two weekday calls (19:00-07:15), typically one per week unless understaffed. One full weekend of call every 5 weeks.
- Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) preferred
- Prior travel experience required
- Experience in large, academic, teaching hospitals required
- Minimum 2 years OR RN experience, with recent high competency in cardiovascular/open heart OR
- Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable
- Floating: May be required to float to other OR suites (General, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, etc.), circulating only, not required to scrub
- Additional Information:
- Monday to Sunday work week without block schedules
- Bi-weekly orientations on Monday
- Explanation required for all employment gaps over 90 days
- Complete work history information necessary (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.)
