Description

Requisition Comments and Notes

  • Assignment Duration: 13-16 weeks
  • Schedule: 3 days, 12-hour shifts (06:45-19:15)
  • Call Requirement: One or two weekday calls (19:00-07:15), typically one per week unless understaffed. One full weekend of call every 5 weeks.
  • Requirements:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) preferred
  • Prior travel experience required
  • Experience in large, academic, teaching hospitals required
  • Minimum 2 years OR RN experience, with recent high competency in cardiovascular/open heart OR
  • Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable
  • Floating: May be required to float to other OR suites (General, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, etc.), circulating only, not required to scrub
  • Additional Information:
  • Monday to Sunday work week without block schedules
  • Bi-weekly orientations on Monday
  • Explanation required for all employment gaps over 90 days
  • Complete work history information necessary (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.)
