Assignment Overview
Seeking an experienced RN for a MedSurg/Tele unit. This role requires a deep understanding of trauma care and medical telemetry, ideally suited for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in similar settings. The position primarily involves covering ED Holds in a high-acuity Level I Trauma facility.
Assignment Details
- Shift: 3x12 Nights
- Patient Ratios: RN 1:5 max, CNA 1:7
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2025 (negotiable)
- Charting System: EPIC
- Floating required within region
- Weekend rotation: Every other
- Holiday expectations: Work 75% of holidays
- Navy scrub color
- Free parking available
Responsibilities
- Provide care for ED Holds
- Manage trauma and complex medical conditions
- Administer medication and manage intravenous lines
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and perform trach care
- Perform procedures such as PIV starts and chest tube management
Qualifications
Required:
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- General Med/Tele skillset
- Experience with stroke patients and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Experience in trach care and NGT placement
