Assignment Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in MedSurg/Telemetry for a travel assignment in a reputable hospital. This role involves working in a dynamic care setting across multiple med-surg and med-tele units focused on decompressing the Emergency Department and other specialty areas. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Med/Tele nursing and be able to adapt to the needs of the unit.

Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments according to hospital policies.
- Monitor and interpret patient telemetry, providing appropriate nursing care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care, including assessment, care planning, and evaluation.
- Float between units as required within the assigned region.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Tele RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- General Med/Tele skillset, including stroke experience and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Experience with trach care, chest tube management, and PCA pumps
- Proficiency in medication gtt management, including cardiac drips and blood products
