Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Medical Surgical RN for a 13-week Neuro-focused travel assignment with a reputable healthcare system in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Assignment Details
Pay: Up to $2,145/week*
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: 3x12 Nights
Shift: 6:45 PM–7:15 AM
Hours: 36 hours/week
Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:5–6
Floating: Required
Travel Experience: Not required
Unit: 36-bed Neurosurgical/Medical unit
Requirements
2 years of RN experience preferred
Candidates with less than 2 years may be screened
BLS required
Med Surg / MS-Tele experience
CVA/Stroke patient care
Peripheral line care
Oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway management
Neuro experience preferred
NIHSS preferred
ACLS preferred
CPI preferred
Epic experience preferred
Charge RN experience preferred
Telemetry experience preferred
About the Unit

This adult Medical Surgical–Neuro unit cares for a mix of general medical and neurosurgical patients.

The ideal RN will be comfortable with:

Neuro assessments
CVA/Stroke patients
Med Surg care
IV therapy
Respiratory support
Telemetry exposure
Working with interdisciplinary teams
Floating based on facility needs

The unit maintains an approximate 1:5–6 patient ratio and has an average daily census of 36.
