Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 – $1,650 (competitive outpatient nursing pay)
• Location: On-site in Philadelphia, PA (19104) — Philadelphia healthcare jobs / Pennsylvania nursing jobs
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift: 8-hour days
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Duration: 14 weeks (short-term contract, outpatient nursing)
• Start Date: June 8, 2026

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in an outpatient, surgical, perioperative, or relevant specialty setting
• Active RN license in Pennsylvania (PA)
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams — strong teamwork skills
• Excellent communication, clinical documentation, and organizational skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care, safety, and quality improvement

Responsibilities (Outpatient Surgical Nursing & Pediatric PACU/OR)

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients across outpatient specialties including Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Pathology, Sub-Acute Care, Pediatric PACU, and Pediatric OR
• Perform patient assessments, develop and implement nursing plans, and evaluate outcomes in collaboration with physicians and allied health staff
• Monitor patient progress, manage perioperative and post-anesthesia care, and document care accurately in electronic medical records
• Deliver patient and family education on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and post-procedure care
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and supportive environment for patients and clinical staff; adhere to infection control and safety protocols
• Support smooth patient flow in an outpatient surgical setting and escalate clinical concerns appropriately
