Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with license verification
- Strong clinical skills in obstetric nursing, maternal assessment, and fetal monitoring
- Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills
- Commitment to patient safety, compassionate care, and professional nursing practice
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, delivery, and postpartum patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Support patients and families throughout the labor and delivery process with education and reassurance
- Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, quality care
- Administer medications and perform clinical interventions according to established care plans and protocols
- Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
- Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for every patient and family
