We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Springfield, Illinois. Job Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in hand
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg or acute care nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts
• Comfort working 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend coverage

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients in a hospital setting
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout the shift
• Administer medications and follow established clinical protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Recognize changes in patient status and escalate concerns promptly
• Support patient education, safety, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate charting and strong communication with the care team
