Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Arizona RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience preferred
• Strong telemetry interpretation, cardiac monitoring, and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting
• Cerner experience preferred
• Flexibility and willingness to support a float-pool environment as needed

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult med/surg telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient status promptly
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and coordinate individualized care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Document care accurately and maintain clinical competencies through ongoing learning
• Prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining excellent patient communication and teamwork
• Adapt to varying patient needs and assist across similar acute care areas when needed
