Description
P7 takes a mix of acuity from general medical to stepdown IMC
2 years of Pediatric MS experience required. Pulmonary lines and resp failure that may require trach and ventilator dependence. CPAP, BIPAP.
Patient pop seen - Neuro, diabetic, nephrology, spinal fusion, intermediate and general care patients
BLS, PALS required - AHA only
Epic experience required
RN license required
Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry exam prior to start.

Nephrology patients, including kidney transplants

A telemetry exam will be required prior to start. The following criteria must be met in two attempts:
Adult Exam:
100% identification of lethal rhythms: Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole
No incorrect answers on questions regarding 3
rd
degree heart blocks [1 incorrect answer will cause failure]
Passing score of 80% or higher
Pediatric Exam
Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole, and sinus bradycardia
Passing score of 80% or higher
Attempts: Traveler will have two attempts to pass. If the traveler does not pass after three attempts the assignment will be cancelled.)
