Description
Start Date: May 18, 2026
Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating AM/PM schedule
Highlights:
- Work with a diverse patient population including laboring mothers, scheduled cesarean sections, external cephalic versions, and triage cases
- Engage in full-spectrum Labor & Delivery care including admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op preparation, and vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Utilize Cerner EMR and Fetalink documentation systems with fetal monitoring equipment
- Care for pregnant patients beginning at 17 weeks gestation through delivery
- Rotating shift structure provides work-life balance with consistent scheduling
- Opportunity to work with patients requiring specialized procedures including cerclage placement
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse license in state or district of practice
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from facility location
