Location: Utica, New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts on a 56-bed unit serving adult and geriatric populations

Highlights:

• Specialized patient population including oncology, hematology, nephrology, endocrine, gastroenterology, dermatology, and general medicine
• Experience with complex diagnoses such as cancer care, end-stage renal disease, diabetes management, and abdominal conditions
• Work with specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, chest tubes, and therapeutic specialty beds
• EPIC electronic medical record system in use
• Floating to other units may be required based on facility needs
• Opportunity available for both local and travel nurses

Requirements:

• Active New York Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical-Surgical and Oncology nursing
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
• Chemotherapy certification required
• Valid driver's license
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
