Description
Start Date: June 22, 2026
Location: Utica, New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM; floating to other units as needed
Highlights:
- Medical-Surgical unit specializing in post-surgical care including abdominal, orthopedic, and bariatric procedures
- Common diagnoses include abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and bariatric surgery recovery
- Adult patient population with use of specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
- EPIC electronic medical record system
- Travel nursing experience required; local candidates considered
- Navy blue scrubs required
Requirements:
- Active New York RN license (verified through NURSYS)
- Minimum 2+ years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Demonstrated travel nursing experience
- Current AHA BLS certification
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Flexibility to float to other units as assigned
