Description
Start Date: June 15, 2026
Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating AM/PM shifts
Highlights:
- Full-scope Labor & Delivery unit serving pregnant patients from 17 weeks gestation through delivery
- Experience with both vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, plus scheduled procedures including external cephalic versions and cerclages
- Cerner EMR system with Fetalink documentation platform
- Diverse case mix including admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op procedures, triage, and deliveries
- Work with childbearing-age female population in a dynamic labor and delivery environment
- Utilize advanced fetal monitoring equipment and specialized L&D technology
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state or district of practice
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility location
