Job Opportunity – Medical Surgical Nurse – Massachusetts

Start Date: July 20, 2026
Location: Western Massachusetts
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday rotation as needed, 1:6 patient ratio

Highlights:

• 20–34 bed medical surgical unit with telemetry capabilities
• Float opportunities across multiple medical surgical units for skill development
• Meditech Expanse EMR system (experience highly preferred)
• 13-week assignment with 8-hour non-billable orientation
• Holiday and overtime multipliers available at 1.25%

Requirements:

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Minimum 2 years current Medical Surgical experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Current BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association), and NIHSS certifications required at time of submission
• Willingness to float to other medical surgical units
• Reliable personal vehicle for commute
• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility location
• Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency license (Nursing Pool) required
