Schedule: Day or Night Shift available; Patient ratios: 1:3-4 Step Down, 1:4-6 Medical Surgical; 6 Saturday or Sunday shifts required per 6-week period

Highlights:

• 39-bed unit consisting of 23 Step Down beds and 16 Medical Surgical beds
• Diverse case mix including trach care, chest tubes, cardiac drips, stable ventilated patients, and wound dressing changes
• EMR system: Cerner
• Floating to other medical surgical and progressive care units as needed
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• Contract replacement position

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Experience working with tracheostomy patients required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Active RN license in good standing
• Previous experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Flexibility and high level of clinical competence essential
