Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Every other weekend required; no on-call required. Nurse to patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 based on acuity and level of care.

Highlights:

• 20-bed inpatient overflow unit with a mixed level of care including medical-surgical and step-down patients
• Focus on short-stay patients with approximately 24-hour length of stay and quick turnover
• All patients hardwired to bedside telemetry monitoring as needed
• Electronic Medical Records system: Cerner
• Floating to other units may be required based on facility needs
• Professional dress code: Navy and/or white scrub tops, navy bottoms, or all white

Requirements:

• Active RN license in North Carolina (or eligibility for licensure)
• Telemetry competency required
• Progressive Care experience required
• Recent progressive care experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
