# Job Opportunity – Maternal Fetal Medicine RN – North Carolina**Start Date:** August 24, 2026 **Location:** Asheville, North Carolina **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Day or Night Shift available; 1:3-4 patient ratio; 10-bed unit; Weekend availability upon approval

Highlights:

• High-risk maternal fetal medicine unit specializing in complex obstetrical care
• Procedures include vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and cesarean hysterectomy
• EMR systems: Cerner and FetalLink; Equipment: Baxter pumps and Philips electronic fetal monitoring
• Collaborative team environment with 8 staff members including RNs, charge nurses, and PCTs
• Float opportunities to Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby, and NICU units
• Scrubs provided

Requirements:

• Active RN license in North Carolina (or eligible for multi-state compact)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required
• High-risk OB experience required
• Immediate newborn care experience required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• BLS or ACLS certification required
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Circulating experience preferred
