Description
Start Date: July 27, 2026
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Every other weekend required. Dayshift grid: 2 CNC/Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNAs, 1 HUC. Night shift grid: 2 CNC/Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNAs, 1 HUC. Patient ratios: 4:1 standard, 5:1 when stretched. Floating to stepdown and med-surg units as needed.

- Focus on neuro and trauma care with advanced procedures including chest tube management, PCA pumps, lumbar drains, and IV infusions

- Regional referral center supporting Level II trauma, comprehensive stroke, and Level III NICU services

Requirements:
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Progressive care or stepdown nursing experience strongly preferred
- Neuro and trauma care experience required
- Experience with neurological and spinal assessments, C-collar placement, TLSO braces, chest tubes, and blood transfusions preferred
- Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code
