Schedule
- Nights
- 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend
- Must work 2 major holidays
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience, within the past 6 months
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Must be able to interpret EKGs
- Must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving the offer, with up to 2 attempts
- Must pass a day 1 orientation exam with emphasis on sterile field and proper sterile techniques
Unit Details
- Neuro telemetry unit
- 28 beds
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:3-4
- Charge nurse has no patient assignment
- PCT support: 1 per every 16 patients
- No vents
- No IV team
- RT available 24/7
- Pharmacy available 24/7
- Hospitalist rounds during the day and is on call at night

- CVA post-TPA
