Description
Stepdown Neuro RN
Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Wichita Falls, Texas
- Start date: late October
- Specialty: PCU / Neuro PCU
- Shift options: day shift, 12-hour shifts
- Weekly hours: 36
- Biweekly hours: 84 with a 72-hour guarantee
- Patient ratio at night: 1:4, sometimes 1:5
- Must be able to float divisional, to overflow, and to ED holds
- Must be able to work 2–3 holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred
- Epic experience
- CPI
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
