Outpatient Surgery RN
Job Overview
- Location: Madison, Wisconsin
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Specialty: Registered Nurse
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day/Evening, Monday–Friday, 4x10-hour shifts
- Hours: 6:40 AM–5:10 PM
- Schedule notes: No weekends, no holidays, rotating day off each week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- 2 years of OR - Operating Room experience
- Experience in an Ambulatory Care or Inpatient setting
- Outpatient Surgery experience
- Ambulatory Surgery experience

- Background check
- Wisconsin caregiver screening
- Wisconsin BID form
- E-Verify
- Employment application
- 2 clinical references within the last 3 years
- Skills checklist
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
- Photo for badge
- Communicable disease form
- TB questionnaire
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- MMR immunity or documentation
- Varicella immunity or documentation
- Hepatitis B immunity, vaccination, or declination
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- Drug screening

- Fit mask completed onsite
Notes
- National certification is preferred for OR Tech/Surgical Tech roles, but this role is RN and that preference does not apply here.
