Overview

The Computed Tomography Technologist performs technical imaging procedures and supports patient care across emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and specialized settings. Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,240-$2,400
• Employment Type: Travel CT Technologist
• Setting: Hospital / Radiology Department
• Shift: Friday-Sunday, 8:00 AM-8:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 9/7/2026
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• On-Call: No on-call responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Completion of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology program
• High school diploma or equivalent
• New York State registration in Diagnostic Radiography or a valid limited permit to practice in New York
• Current ARRT certification
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED certification
• Entry-level CT Technologist candidates may be considered; willingness to learn and grow in a busy clinical environment is important

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with established clinical and safety standards
• Support patient care in trauma, emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and specialized procedure settings
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while helping ensure a safe, comfortable patient experience
• Follow radiation safety protocols and comply with New York State Department of Health requirements
• Collaborate with radiologists, clinical leaders, and the care team to support efficient patient flow
• Contribute to a learning-focused environment and adapt to evolving imaging technology
