• Weekly Hours: 40
• Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts
• Schedule: 4x10 schedule, Monday through Thursday, 9:30 PM to 8:00 AM EST; on-call, callback, and holiday coverage as needed
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,830 - $3,040

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience in a hospital or acute care environment
• Graduation from an approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT certification required
• New York State licensure required prior to start
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Experience with Siemens scanners preferred
• Epic experience highly desired
• Injection certification preferred, with willingness to complete during orientation
• Strong communication skills, a compassionate approach, and the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures in accordance with hospital protocols and radiology standards
• Confirm patient identity and verify exam details before beginning each scan
• Coordinate with physicians and the imaging team to support accurate and timely diagnostic care
• Prepare patients for CT procedures and explain the process to promote comfort and confidence
• Start IVs when needed for testing and imaging procedures
• Position patients safely, including those with limited mobility, while following safe patient handling practices
• Document exams accurately in EPIC and ensure images are properly sent to PACS
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe CT scanning environment
• Deliver professional, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting
