Job Details

• Setting: Hospital-based dual-modality imaging department
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,990 - $2,140
• Duration: 8-week travel assignment
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday, 2:30 PM to midnight
• Training: First 2 weeks on Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Patient Volume: Up to 20 patients per day
• Work Environment: Inpatient, outpatient, ER, and adult ICU support
• Location: Manhattan, New York 10003

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Tech or CT Technologist
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and CT required
• Valid New York State license required
• IV certification required
• BLS certification required
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Epic experience preferred
• Experience with portable imaging and multi-setting patient care preferred
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment over 150 pounds, with or without assistive devices
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required with no exemptions

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and X-rays in a specialty hospital imaging department
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for a diverse patient population
• Support orthopedic exams in exam room and portable settings
• Work across multiple departments as needed within the hospital
• Complete imaging procedures for extremities, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal cases, and more
• Maintain accurate workflow and patient care standards in a fast-moving clinical setting
• Collaborate with the care team to help ensure efficient, safe, and timely imaging services
