- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Hours per Week: 36
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,540 - $2,730
- Start Date: 10/11/2026
- Weekend Coverage: Required
- Work Environment: On-site, with rotation across radiology clinics and divisions as needed
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program
- Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license and CT Technologist license
- ARRT certification in CT or equivalent
- At least 1 year of CT technologist experience required; 2-3 years of radiologic technology experience preferred
- Level I trauma experience required
- Siemens CT equipment experience required
- Strong interpersonal and patient-care skills with the ability to support patients under physical and emotional stress
- Ability to apply analytical judgment and cross-sectional anatomy knowledge in clinical practice
- Must be flexible with shift coverage, on-call needs, and overtime as required
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment and related imaging devices to acquire diagnostic images
- Prepare, position, and immobilize patients while using protective shielding as appropriate
- Select proper imaging factors and obtain high-quality scans according to departmental protocol
- Explain procedures clearly while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and compassionate care
- Perform venipuncture for contrast administration in accordance with policy and radiologist direction
- Calibrate and verify equipment function; report malfunctions or repair needs promptly
- Document exams accurately in radiology information systems and transfer images to PACS
- Transport and transfer patients following established safety procedures
- Participate in staff meetings, in-services, quality initiatives, and continuing education
- Support workflow by stocking supplies, preparing work areas, and assisting with department coverage as needed
- Use independent judgment and initiative when responding to changing clinical situations
