CT Technologist Travel Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,340–$2,510
• Location: Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts
• Setting: Hospital radiology department – CT/Scan
• Assignment Dates: November 9, 2026–February 7, 2027
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Typical Schedule: Wednesdays and Fridays, with alternating Saturday/Sunday coverage as scheduled

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or comparable clinical setting
• Current CT Technologist certification
• Ability to complete required license and certification verification
• Strong understanding of CT imaging protocols, radiation safety, and patient positioning
• Excellent communication, organizational, and patient-care skills
• Ability to work scheduled day shifts, including alternating weekend coverage
• Successful completion of required facility onboarding and credentialing processes

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations according to established imaging protocols and physician orders
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain examinations, and provide attentive care throughout the diagnostic imaging process
• Position patients accurately and operate CT equipment safely and effectively
• Assess CT images for quality and completeness, repeating studies when clinically appropriate
• Follow radiation-safety practices and maintain compliance with department standards
• Document procedures, patient information, and imaging results accurately in the appropriate systems
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, providers, and other members of the care team
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe hospital imaging environment
