Job Summary:
A Radiology Technologist position is available in Santa Cruz, California. This role involves working in a busy radiology unit with management and charge experience required. The schedule includes 8-hour days, with shifts rotating into weekends, and candidates are expected to work into a rotation.

• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT); American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography (ARRT-R); California license; 2 years of CT experience; management/charge experience preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Management/Charge experience; experience with Siemens Sensation 64 and GE Light Speed scanners; familiarity with Cerner and McKesson PACS charting systems; experience with ER patients, virtual colonography, and gated procedures
• Floated assignments: Radiology; radiology floor specific orientation required for 3-4 shifts
• Additional information: Ratios of 10-20 scans depending on shift; evenings are the busiest; use Nighthawk for night shift; hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments; use Cerner charting system; no BSN required; care setting is acute; work hours are the same as weekends, with work into rotation; hospitalist or intensivist in house during shifts; radiologist not available 24/7
