Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) in the Bronx, New York. This role involves performing advanced imaging studies independently, utilizing technical judgment to ensure accurate diagnostic images. The position requires active patient and room preparation, assistance during interventional procedures, and strict adherence to radiation safety protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 7.5 hours per shift, with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week starting on 08/09/2026.
- Required Qualifications: NYS license, at least 2 years of experience, ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), NYS Department of Health certification in Radiology Technology, BLS certification, NYS Department of Health Injection Contrast certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Multilingualism is a plus.
- Additional Information: The technologist will perform sophisticated imaging procedures, assist with sterile equipment handling, operate injectors, and monitor patients for adverse reactions during contrast administration. Responsibilities include entering patient data into electronic health records system, proper patient positioning, obtaining scout images, and verifying images in the picture archiving and communication system (PACS). The role involves strict compliance with radiation safety standards and accurate documentation throughout the imaging process.
