Job Summary:
The specialty is Electrophysiology (EP) in Louisville, Kentucky. This position involves managing and supporting electrophysiology procedures within a clinical environment. It requires a skilled healthcare professional with experience in EP procedures and the ability to scrub and monitor all cases effectively.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, from 07:00 to 16:30, with a total of 8 hours per day and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications; ARRT or RCIS certification (preference for ARRT); 2 years of EP experience; ability to scrub and monitor all electrophysiology cases.
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
- Float: No float rotation required.
- Additional Information:
- Support within the department includes Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, Registered Technologists (RT) 24/7, hospitalists, intensivists, nurse practitioners, fellows, and cardiologists.
- Technology and equipment used include EMR: Cerner, IV pumps: Alaris, medication dispensing: Omnicell, monitors: McKesson, and unit-specific equipment such as Phillips, Siemens, St. Jude, and Steritaxis.
- Orientation involves 4-5 days of facility and unit-specific training.
- Parking: Free, badge-access parking garage.
- Must have skills: Scrubbing and monitoring all electrophysiology cases.
