Description
Job Summary:
Radiology Technician, CT Technologist, Baltimore, MD This position involves performing computed tomography (CT) procedures in a healthcare facility setting. The role requires interacting with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver quality imaging services. Applicants must hold appropriate licensing and certifications for the state of Maryland and possess the necessary clinical experience to succeed in this fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Sunday - Tuesday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active Maryland license, associate's degree in radiology technology or closely related field, ARRT registration, CPR certification, at least 2 full years of experience, and completion of one travel assignment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Siemens scanners experience, previous employment within a Johns Hopkins facility (must be disclosed in work history and verified before offer).
- Additional Information: Perform CT procedures, operate scanners and related equipment in patient examinations, assist physicians with biopsies and drainage, secure patient consent for intravenous injections, and position patients on equipment. Candidate must also be compliant with SOPs and should have a minimum of six months of clinical experience.
