Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position is based in a community hospital setting. This role involves operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to perform imaging procedures in a fast-paced environment. The technologist will work every other Saturday and Sunday, supporting patient care across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, with working hours from 09:00:00 PM to 07:00:00 AM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: NY State Department of Health (NYS DOH) Radiologic Technologist license, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) (CT) certification, and BLS (Basic Life Support). Candidates with previous experience or who are currently enrolled in an IV certification course for NY State IV/Injection Certification will be considered. On-site opportunities for physician skills sign-off will be arranged.
• Additional Information: The position involves working in a community hospital with three CT scanners: GE Optima, Siemens Force, and GE Ascend (located in Emergency Department). Approximately 75% of cases are emergency room, 20% inpatient, and 5% outpatient. Procedures include brain, abdomen, pelvis, chest, and trauma head to foot imaging. Flexibility to perform X-ray procedures if needed is required.
