Description

Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in the area. The role involves performing computed tomography (CT) procedures using appropriate techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images. The successful candidate will ensure equipment calibration, adhere to radiation safety guidelines, and effectively document procedures and findings in compliance with regulatory standards.

Job Details:

Schedule: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM, Days shift, minimum of 37.5 hours per week
Required Qualifications: - Graduate of a JCERT (Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology) approved school of radiologic technology, with at least 2 years of experience working in hospital radiology as a CT Technician. Certifications include New York State License (L.R.T.) and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified).
Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: The role involves performing CT procedures according to prescribed protocols, conducting daily quality control calibration checks, administering radiopharmaceuticals, maintaining documentation, and adhering to safety guidelines to comply with the As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) principle. Accurate verification of radiopharmaceutical doses and proper receipt upon delivery are essential responsibilities. The assignment begins on 10/12/2026 and concludes on 01/09/2027.
