Job Summary:
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position available in a healthcare organization. This role involves providing technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures within the cardiac catheterization laboratory. The technologist assists physicians, operates imaging equipment, and ensures patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure, while adhering to departmental standards and promoting quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; Registered ARRT or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (RCIS) within 18 months of hire; BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association; ACLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association; Fluoroscopy Certification; Radiation badges supplied by the vendor
• Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) years of experience in Cardiology or Cath Lab setting
• Additional Information: Provides patient care under supervision of the registered nurse; assists physicians with radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures; maintains sterile conditions; educates patients and families about procedures; assists in maintaining unit cleanliness and stock levels; completes documentation and participates in quality and safety initiatives
