Job Description:

The Med Surg Float Pool nurse provides comprehensive patient care across multiple medical-surgical units, adapting quickly to varying patient populations and unit workflows. Nurses are expected to function independently, demonstrate strong clinical judgment, and uphold all hospital policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care across all inpatient Medical-Surgical units, including step down and ED for med surg holds.
• Orient at Main Campus on start date and participate in a brief orientation at Women and Families subsequently.
• Ensure compliance with all Temple policies, including attendance, documentation standards, and medication safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience.
• BLS, NIHSS certifications required (TNCC and ACLS preferred).
• Strong EPIC proficiency required.
• Comfortable floating between multiple units.
