Job Overview

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery, tasked with providing high-quality care to patients during the labor process and postpartum period. The role requires a strong commitment to patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, ensuring the safety and comfort of mothers and newborns.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, documenting and reporting changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist in the delivery process, providing necessary support and interventions as needed.
• Implement and adhere to established nursing protocols and procedures.
• Educate patients and families regarding the labor process, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery nursing.
• Current RN license and BLS certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Work Schedule

This position will require night shift work from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
