Unit Information
Unit Type: CC4 Telemetry
Location: Aurora, CO
General Information:
- Number of Beds: 345 (3-time Magnet Designation)
- Number of Staff: Approximately 80 in float pool
- Patient Ratios: Typically 1:5 on days and nights, may vary by unit
- Types of Equipment: Various
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Meditech / CPN
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care telemetry hospital experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Preferred Skills:
- Strong telemetry experience
- Chemotherapy Certification (this would allow scheduling on oncology unit)
Unit Procedures
The unit serves a large cardiac population with two telemetry floors and a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) floor. Staff may be required to float across all inpatient medical/telemetry and rehabilitation units.

Ideal candidates should demonstrate flexibility, a willingness to float to different units, and be team players with a compassionate approach to patient care. This role offers excellent learning opportunities to care for patients with diverse acute and chronic medical issues.
