Job Opportunity: RN CVIR (Pre/Post Recovery Room)

Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Work Schedule

  • 40 hours per week
  • Four 10-hour shifts (4x10's)
  • No weekends or on-call required

Required Specialty Experience

  • Registered Nurse with Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology (RN CVIR) experience

  • MMR Vaccination: Documentation of measles, mumps, and rubella immunity or vaccination
  • Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions allowed
  • TB Test: Negative TB skin test or blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break
  • Health Statement: Physician statement within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
  • Hepatitis B: Strongly preferred (vaccination or immunity proof)
  • Tdap Vaccine: Preferred within last 10 years
  • Positive PPD: If applicable, negative chest x-ray documentation required
  • Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation: Required if fit test is required

Background & Compliance Checks

  • Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break
  • Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break
  • Social Security Number trace for last 7 years
  • National Sex Offender Registry check within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
  • Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
  • Education verification of highest level achieved
  • References: Minimum 2 recent references, at least 1 supervisor or above in skillset
