Travel RN Opportunity - Inpatient Rehab

Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Specialty: Inpatient Rehabilitation Nursing (RN)

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inpatient rehab nursing
  • Must have at least 13 weeks of EPIC electronic health record experience
  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required

Facility & Unit Information

  • 49-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation facility
  • Patient population includes individuals recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions requiring inpatient rehab
  • Patient ratio: 6 patients to 1 nurse
  • EHR system: EPIC
  • Accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation and Stroke Specialty Programs

Shift & Schedule

  • Day shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Night shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Weekend hours: Every other weekend
  • Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 (with possible call-off up to 2 times without penalty due to low census)
  • No on-call requirements

Certifications & Education

  • BLS certification required

Additional Notes

  • No float requirements
  • Preferred skillset includes EPIC and rehab experience (or at least acute care experience)
  • Scrub color: Any
  • Reporting time on first day: 8:00 AM

This position is ideal for RNs with inpatient rehab experience looking for a travel assignment in a well-accredited rehab hospital with a supportive environment and a manageable patient ratio.
