Job Opportunity: RN - Rehab (Travel)

Location: Chesterfield, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialty: Rehabilitation (Med/Surg)
Shift: 6:30 PM – AM
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Float Requirement: Float within 5 units (Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury)
Patient Population: Adults (18+ years)
Patient Ratios: Approx. 1:6-7 (Day), 1:8 (Night) with dedicated tech support
Facility Beds: 81 private rooms
Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Epic

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Minimum 2 years of Rehabilitation nursing experience, including experience within the last year
BLS (CPR) Certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience working with adult patients
Med Surg nursing experience
Influenza vaccination required or approved exemption with mask-wearing during flu season (Nov 1 – Mar 31)
Must wear black scrubs and agency-provided ID badge

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) credential preferred

Cons

Generally speaking, Host Healthcare doesn't always have the highest rate on the market. Having gone with competing agencies in the past, I have often been disappointed and unsupported and ultimately found it wasn't worth the small pay bump
